The Role of Volunteers = Varied & Flexible
You don't have to be a Professor of Botany to be a volunteer gardner. Nor do you have to be built like Schwarzenegger or have the flexibility of a yogi. You just need to have the spirit to help others and not be afraid to get your hands dirty.

 

 

Gardening Tasks

As a volunteer gardener you will be doing one or more of the following tasks:

• Weeding
• Pruning
• Mulching
• Planting
• Simple landscaping tasks
• Loading/unloading green waste
• Maintaining tools

Note1: We provide all necessary tools. However, we do not use power tools mainly to ensure the safety of volunteers.
Note 2: If you have any medical conditions or allergies or any doubt about your ability to work safely in a garden situation please consult the coordinator at the interview.
