Linen Service
What is the Service?
The Linen Service aims to assist people who find changing their bed linen or washing their linen and towels difficult, by providing freshly laundered linen and making beds for the clients.
Who can receive this service?
Frail older people, people with a disability and the carers of these people, who live in the Lane Cove Municipality are eligible.
When is it available?
The linen service operates fortnightly on Mondays.
How does it operate?
Client's beds are stripped and remade by volunteers using commercially laundered bed linen and towels, provided by Lane Cove Community Aid Service.
Are there any costs to have this service?
A small charge is made for each service received. There may be the opportunity for negotiation of fees due to financial difficulties.
How can I request the service?
Anyone can make a referral to the service by telephoning Lane Cove Community Aid Service on 9427 6425.
